On the eve of Independence Day, the US House of Representatives approved HR 1-the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, including several important provisions to help home builders, small businesses and families. The measure passed the Senate shortly before that.

Prior to these votes, NAHB sent a letter to congressional leaders designating support of H.R. 1 as a “key vote” because of its importance to the housing industry.
