Building Product Specialist

The Parksite Building Products Specialist will focus on increasing sales within the NH/ME territory for building solutions. The specialist drives sales through strong relationships with specifiers and decisions makers. This creative, organized, and self-starting person will promote specialty products to builders, subcontractors, code officials and consultants in the commercial markets. 

RESPONSIBILITIES (90% customer facing/virtual / 10% supplier facing/virtual):   

  • Develop marketing strategies that create downstream demand while expanding the customer base 
  • Identify, communicate, and manage growth opportunities (new dealer prospects, significant downstream prospects and new sales)
  • Provide educational seminars, including product presentations to a variety of customers and market influencers 
  • Instruct field installations training, customer certification training, and provide jobsite observation reviews 
  • Record field activities and initiatives using company CRM platform 
  • Create and utilize annual business plan/road map to provide territory growth, increase market share and identify opportunities with greatest potential of closed sale 
  • Identify competitive products and understand their strengths/weaknesses 
  • Complete all required reporting within required time frame 
  • Meet monthly and annual sales volume goals 
  • Participation and successful completion of company provided certification + sales process trainings 
  • Organize sales events and participate in trade shows 
  • Active participation in local trade organizations 
  • Be active in corporate initiatives as requested
