maya@greatnorthernbuilders.infoMaya grew up in Montreal, Canada. Her father is from Southern India and her mother, from Quebec’s Eastern Townships. She grew up traveling in Canada and the US, as well as India, and Australia. Maya graduated with Honors in Outdoor Recreation, Parks and Tourism with a minor in Biology from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Maya moved to Maine in 2005 to marry her beau, Len, and became involved in residential construction when, in 2007, she partnered with him on his residential Design / Build / Remodel Company, Great Northern Builders. Great Northern Builders became a member of the HBRAME in 2010. Len and Maya have seen their membership in the organization pay for itself many times over each year. From personal relationships that have grown over time, to advocacy, education, and the reliable information needed to aid in navigating today’s turbulent business environment, the Boghs continually appreciate what the HBRAME and NAHB offer their business.
Len & Maya are driven every day by their love for their daughters, Ella and Sophia, as well as a desire to contribute in a positive manner to their community. In addition to serving as the current President of the HBRAME, Maya also sits on South Berwick’s Zoning Board of Appeals, and co-leads NatureKids, a York County-based 4H group.
In her free time, Maya enjoys family time, gardening, cooking, animals, and the outdoors.
