david.elkas@jameshardie.comWith James Hardie I’ve had the privilege of helping builders and contractors achieve an improved look and feel of their homes, while providing superior durability that builders, contractors can trust. My job with James Hardie is to help builders and contractors implement James Hardie into their business through education of product, pricing, ordering, selling, value engineering and installing.
I’ve been a member of the HBRAME since 2019. Shortly after becoming a member I was elected to become a board member. Shortly after I accepted a nomination to serve on the Executive Committee as Secretary, which I’ve held for 1 term and remain in position today.
Every day is an opportunity to learn something new. Each day there's a problem to solve. Being a member helps me take on these challenges, and serve my industry.
Being a members means networking for success, education for personal and professional growth, and helping the greater good of our industry on a local scale.
Outside of work I play instruments, including piano, acoustic guitar, and ukulele. I have a Golden Doodle named Gunner that's my shadow whenever there's food involved. I also like to stay active with a variety or sports and hobbies including running, golf, basketball, football, hiking, and pretty anything outdoors.
